Requirements: Daily attendance and Punctuality. Students are expected to attend classes, be punctual and bring the required materials every day.
Required Materials: Each student must come prepared to class. The supplies necessary for Spanish Class are: Text book, marble notebook, loose leaf paper, pen (black or traditional blue ink only), white out, 1 USB (Spanish Heritage & Culture), stapler, Spanish- English dictionary.
All books must be covered (paper cover or fabric (spandex only).

Class Participation
- Consist of coming prepared to class with required materials.
- Disruptive, rude and inappropriate behavior is unacceptable.
- No bathroom passes will be given during class unless you have an emergency or a doctor’s note.
- A respectful attitude is expected during class prayer.
- Class participation is very important for good grades.
Homework
- Written homework will be assigned daily.
- If a student is absent from class is his/her responsibility to get the assignment of the day from another student or school web page.
- Late homework will be accepted next day you return to school
- There're will be a certain day each quarter for handing in late homework or assignments. This day will be announced by teacher
- Parent will be called when a student misses more than 3 homework assignments.
- Homework detention is mandatory. If parents need a teachers note it will be available.
- Homework is essential for good grades.
Exams
- There is no calendar for the four marking period. However, exam are announced and are normally on Fridays. There will be a least 5 exams, during the marking period.
- Make up exams will be given after school with an acceptable excuse.
- Talking or cheating during an exam merits an automatic failure.
- Tutoring will be available before each exam.
- Any students failing an exam must: Have his/ her exam signed by parent.
Research Paper/ Projects (RP/P)
A research paper or project will be given every marking period. This will be worth 100 points. If the project is accepted after the day is due, you will be penalized by loosing points daily. In the event if a student is absent on the due date, students options:
- Send it through via email to my school web page. However, if this task had been emailed, the original project or research paper must be submitted when student returns to school.
- Have someone bring in papers on due date.
- Research papers and projects will be accepted prior to date due.
Failure to submit the Research Paper or Project will result in a serious consequence.
A call to the parent or legal guardian will be placed if the assignment is not submitted. UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES DO NOT SUBMIT A USB.
Project detention is mandatory.
Additional Assignments
If Additional Assignments are given in any marking period, these follow the same rules as Research Papers and Projects.
